Our Vermont-umental Vacation
Here are some highlights from our stay at the lovely Wildflower Inn in Lydonville, Vermont.
N & M on "heaven's bench" overlooking the Inn. That's Burke Mountain (peak elevation: 3,280) in the background.

Nick does some pruning in the flower boxes outside our suite. Grammer would be proud!
Nick and his new friend Dahlia, a nine-week-old calf. We spent a lot of time hanging out with Dahlia and her friends at the Inn's barn.
Mocha the somewhat lethargic sheep.
Sweet Pea, a good-natured and very hungry pony.
Rosie, Belle and Willow.

Dipping our toes in the very deep (300 feet at some points), very cold glacial Lake Willoughby.
Cold is just a state of mind, mommy.
Celebrating our eighth wedding anniversary.

Sharing some of the Inn's signature teddy bear pancakes.
Nick and Rob trying to swipe some candy during our tour of the Maple Groves Farm syrup factory.
Maddy and me searching the samples in the museum's sap exhibit.
