Nick's Second Birthday

Yum! Like last year, Nick's cake came from Carlo’s City Hall Bake Shop, a Hoboken institution since 1910. This year's version featured buttercream frosting in the birthday boy's favorite color -- along with a moon (waxing gibbous variety) and stars to go along with the celestial theme.

Nikc looks a little chagrined by our off-key rendition of "Happy Birthday" ...

But he was all smiles when it came time to open gifts.
