Halloween 2006

For months beforehand, Nick kept insisting that he wanted to be a monkey for Halloween, so I ordered a cute little costume of the simian sort online. And, of course, once it came time to put it on and head to the big Hoboken Halloween parade, he balked. Of particular issue were the hat/ears combo (as you can see here, he wore them only briefly, and under protest).

Sans ears, he looked more like a monk than a monkey (through I haven't seen too many Franciscans sporting tails).

Nick was more interested in "borrowing" our neighbor's pumpkin than trick or treating.
